Cooking Instructions

  1. Take flakes in a sieve and moist by sprinkling water. This will not make it mushy.
  2. Heat a pan with a tablespoon of oil and season with mustard, urad dal & dal.
  3. To the seasoning, add onion, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric, salt and desired vegetables.
  4. To the sauted mix, add the poha. Sprinkly some water, cover it with a lid and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Add grated coconut, mix well and serve hot.
  6. Other recipes: Payasam or Kheer, Porridge and sweet upma..
